2026 brings us to the 10th Anniversary of Gaynorfest.

We want to make this weekend a weekend of music 

and celebration and raise lots of money for Accuro!

Saturday 6th June from 2pm until 11.30pm

Sunday 7th June from 3pm until 10pm

The Coach and Horses Pub,

Cambridge Road, Newport, Essex. CB11 3TR

A 2 day festival of live music in Newport!

Saturday is full band day, with music to get you dancing!

Sunday is a more chilled out day, with semi acoustic performances.

There will be a large covered outdoor stage with a variety of bands playing throughout the day.
You are welcome to bring a picnic blanket or chairs.
You can buy and enjoy freshly cooked food from the pub (both indoors and outdoors) and a selection of fine wines, beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks from the pub.
Bring your dancing shoes and your singing voices, because it generally gets more lively as the day goes on!

A cover band for the true rock and Metal fan, playing a range of headbanging hits from Maiden, Metallica, Sabbath, Megadeth, Thin Lizzy, Motorhead and more

Sorry Not Sorry

Sorry Not Sorry – high energy rock and pop punk covers band based in Herts and Essex

Formed in early 2017, Sorry Not Sorry has gained a good following by developing a set list that's a bit different to most other cover bands.

Bands covered include Motorhead, Green Day, The Sex Pistols, Blink 182, Halestorm, Beastie Boys, Ugly Kid Joe, Nirvana, The Ramones, The Hives, Wheatus, Feeder, Metallica, Joan Jett, and many more.

Sarni fronts the band on vocals, with Gaynor on Drums, Terry on Bass and Steve on guitar

The Bilge Rats

This band opened for us as a relatively new band a couple of years back and proved incredibly popular with the crowd. They've since done several swashbuckling "world" tours with their pirate rock anthems and shanties and have gained a loyal following. They certainly put on a show! Dressing up as a pirate is highly encouraged, whether you are 9 or 90! There'll be a prize for the best dressed pirate on the day. We present to you Bilge Rats!

A new band to the scene -

An all girl trio performing original music with a sort of soft/emo punk feel to it.

Lemoniscent - 2pm

It's great to get a youth band to open up the festival!

Lemoniscent are a band formed in Essex who met at college and consist of Lexi, Aimee, Harry and Isaac. They mostly cover indie rock music but sometimes add some rap to it. They are currently writing and recording an ep which mixes rock music with rap to create their signature genre.

The KT Bush Band

We are over the moon to announce that we have secured a slot for KT Bush Band! Featuring original members of Kate Bush's original band, and the amazing vocals of Sallie-Anne Hurst, they will be playing an acoustic set of all Kate's hits and some album classics. 

Norma Band Acoustic

An Upbeat soulful pop acoustic duo performing Pop covers in their own acoustic style. Artists covered include Dua Lipa, Amy Winehouse, Katie Perry, Olivia Rodrigo.

A relatively new band, that spans the generations will be playing on Sunday 7th June!

Made up of some very talented musicians!

Sakara

Sakara is a singer/songwriter penning quietly subversive lyrics on identity, relationships and self worth. All the familiar stories, with some chronic-illness related twists.

Playing solo around Saffron Walden & Cambridge since 2019, her music has more recently taken her to Camp Bestival Dorset (2024) & Glastonbury Festival (2025). Her singles have been played on local radio & BBC introducing, but on stage in front of an audience is still one of her favourite places to be!
