A 2 day festival of live music in Newport!

There will be a large covered outdoor stage with a variety of bands playing throughout the day.
You are welcome to bring a picnic blanket or chairs.
You can buy and enjoy freshly cooked food from the pub (both indoors and outdoors) and a selection of fine wines, beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks from the pub.
Bring your dancing shoes and your singing voices, because it generally gets more lively as the day goes on!

Sorry Not Sorry – high energy rock and pop punk covers band based in Herts and Essex

Formed in early 2017, Sorry Not Sorry has gained a good following by developing a set list that's a bit different to most other cover bands.

Drawing on the different influences of the band members, the set list includes rock, metal, pop punk, and Indie covers.

Bands covered include Motorhead, Green Day, The Sex Pistols,  Blink 182, Halestorm, Twisted Sister, Ugly Kid Joe, Nirvana, The Ramones, Wheatus, Feeder, Metallica, Joan Jett, and many more.

 Kat fronts the band on vocals, with Gaynor on Drums, Don on Bass and Steve on guitar

Tennessee Twin

Tennessee Twin are an acoustic duo from Cambridge, UK. Their songs, blending modern country, folk & Americana, are known for their memorable melodies, gritty (yet thoughtful) lyrics and exquisite harmonies. Their debut EP reached no.1 on the UK iTunes Country Chart. Several top ten singles, airplay around the world and multiple awards followed.

Tranquility Beach

Tranquility Beach are a duo from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire. Fusing powerful soul vocals with overdriven guitar and percussion, the band is bringing an exciting new sound to the blues and roots scene. The band’s influences include Wolf Alice, Sharon Van Etten, John Butler Trio, Ben Harper, Xavier Rudd, Bon Iver and Angus Stone. ​ Molly & Ben began their songwriting journey in 2021 and are currently working on their debut album which they are recording in their makeshift home studio.  They are excited to be working in collaboration with gold and platinum producer Al Scott who has worked with the likes of David Gray and The Clash's Joe Strummer. Their second single from the album - Poor Little Rich Girl - was released in 2023.

Beats and Babes

@beats.and.babes are new on the scene and have been creating waves since their debut events. A collective of female musicians empowering and uplifting others within the city, serious feel good factor incoming.

Sand

SAND started as a three-piece in 2018 playing pop and rock covers with vocal harmonies. The addition of bass and drums gave the band a bigger sound and wider repertoire and they cover a wide range of genres from disco and funk to rock and pop with the aim of getting the crowd dancing!
